Checkout is so easy!

Now we had to be out of the room at 11:00 but we still had shopping to do because our flight didn't leave until 3:00. Magical Express makes this so easy. We just checked our suitcases in at the luggage counter. Both were right at weight. We also left our carry-ons to pick up later. It was that easy. We headed down to Downtown Disney and finished our shopping which got shipped home.
Magical  Express couldn't make our trip easier.

Shopping!!!

I start shopping the minute I get off the plane and never really stop.

This year because we're moving I tried hard to stick to a budget. That doesn't mean I didn't want everything I saw. I just got picky about my purchases. I really watched all week and then bought what we wanted right before we left. Because we're Annual Passholders we get a 10% discount at World of Disney, which is where we shopped. We bought an Annual Passholder pin and an address book but everything else got shipped home.I've left it in the boxes so I can't even take a picture but it's well packed for the move.

We bought dinner plates, bowls, small and large glasses, and Mickey silverware.

Our suitcases were already at 50 pounds each so this would have put us way over!

Some Less Magical Express

I appreciate the Magical Express. It gets me and my luggage to and from the airport quite quickly and effectively with little effort on my part.

So why do I dislike it so on the home journey? Because it's the home journey.

I don't like having to get to the airport three hours early. That seems like a waste of time (even if Orlando security does take forever.) It's also the only Disney bus trip that doesn't end with "Welcome Home". It's just depressing. I've started looking at it as my trip home bus before my next trip back.

That helps a little bit!

Back In Wisconsin

Business Class seats were again worth the extra cost. I love the extra space and unlimited drinks! I may never fly coach again. Time seemed to fly.

Our landing at Mitchell International in Milwaukee was a smooth one. Being right up front, we were first off the plane. By the time we took a bathroom break our luggage was down at the carousel. Jim grabbed the two giants off and we caught a tram out to the parking lot. I had forgotten where we had parked 10 days earlier. Luckily Jim remembered.

We got off at our stop and did what everyone does: used our keys. We found the Element right away.
We threw everything in and headed for the highway.

About an hour and a half later we pulled into our driveway, opened the door, and greeted our animals. We were exhausted but happy to be home. And a little bit sad to be away from the Magic as well.

Sleeping In

Sometimes sleep is more important than food. Even breakfast at Boma. We were both still stuffed from the night before and decided that sleep was what we needed, not another buffet. Now part of me was torn because I love Boma, but I wasn't up for bus transfers and more food in an already stuffed stomach. Instead we woke casually as we pleased and finished packing the room just before 11:00. No rush and no bus madness back and forth. We took our bags (which were each just under the weight limit) to luggage claim and headed off to Downtown Disney to do some final shopping.
